On this site, I exhibit my wood-turned works. Creations are made exclusively by hand in a unique production. Handcrafted furnishing elements: stands, vases, caskets, fruit bowls, chandeliers, jewelry boxes, candle holders. Useful wood objects: bowls, caps, thermal pots, tins, spice racks, and much more. Wood products are made with beech, walnut, locust, mulberry, hornbeam, cedar, mahogany, fruit trees, and essences from our less common woods.
The turned objects that you can observe on this site are examples of legnochegira woodturning products. Everything is handmade in the wood workshop situated in the hills of Conegliano. There is a selection of individual objects or sets of wooden products. Some are purely decorative and other are functional. Each is handcrafted and great attention is paid to shape and finish with the goal that each piece is pleasing to the eye and the touch. Artisanal hand made wood creation
The difference between a handcrafted object and an industrial or handicraft product in series or simply assembled by hand, is evident: the attention to some details, the choice of woods, the meticulous finish, some details of the workmanship distinguish the artisan artifacts. But what most characterizes a handcrafted product made by hand from a mass-produced product, is the uniqueness of the final object.
When you select a product here, you do not choose a type or a size or a design, but you choose that object, that shape and that wood grain, all these characteristics and others will be found only in one single piece. When you decide for that piece whether this is an earring holder or a wooden box, it is as if it had been personalized for you. Personalization is a typical feature of craftsmanship and in addition to delivering you the opportunity to choose a product that gratify your taste. We can create objects uniquely designed and manufactured for you.
The creations of legnochegira are unique handcrafted objects. All products, useful objects such as wooden jewelry boxes or mortars or decorative, ones such as vases or raised bowls, are made completely by hand. The wood objects are created utilizing only simple tools and are never the result of mass production or produced by machines, but bowls, fruit bowls, storage boxes, chandeliers etc... are made one by one.
